Privacy

The short version: your personal details live on your device. We keep only what we need to run your account.

What stays on your device

Your profile, the documents you add (CV, certificates, references), what ME learns from your chats and the history of every opportunity you analyse are stored in your own browser.

We cannot see them. If you remove the extension or clear your browser data, they are deleted.

What we keep on our servers

Your email address, your plan, your notification choices, and how many analyses, chat messages and document reads you have used this month.

To keep the free plan fair, each use is counted together with scrambled codes for your device and network. These are one-way codes: they can't be turned back into your address or device details, and they're only used to stop one computer collecting several free allowances.

What happens when you analyse a page

To analyse an opportunity, ME sends the page text and the relevant parts of your profile to our AI provider through our server.

We don't store this content after the answer comes back, and our AI provider doesn't use it to train its models.

Emails

If you keep the weekly check-up on, ME sends our server a short summary once a week (your headline, goals, what ME has learned and your applications' titles and status) so the AI can write your email. We don't keep that summary.

We also email you now and then about new things ME can do. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change what you get in your account.

What we never do

We never sell or share your data. We never submit an application or fill in a form without you approving it first.

Your choices

You can delete any analysis, chat or application in the extension at any time; removing the extension deletes everything it stored. To delete your account, reply to any email from ME and we'll do it within 7 days.
